Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has decided that the real issues at hand have to do with people who have been dead for over 100 years and the fact that anyone would even pretend to care about illegal immigration is far less important, as he believes slave owners are the real “undocumented individuals who are criminals.”

Johnson has proven over and over how little he cares to do his job. He defended and oversaw the Chicago migrant crisis while also doing everything he could to turn Americans into second-class citizens.

He claims it's not his job to follow the law but will endlessly defend and enable these individuals who have broken the law. You cannot make that level of absurdity up, and it is only something possible within the Democratic Party.

And whose job was it to stop the release of this criminal alien? Because, according to Johnson, it was not his.

It does not matter what he claims is the "law of the land in Chicago" because that means nothing when it comes to federal immigration law. His projecting of his insecurities while calling everyone else criminals, except those who have broken federal immigration laws, as he fails to follow federal regulations, proves all you need to know.
When officials protect criminal aliens over American citizens, it turns everyone else into second-class citizens in their own country and is contrary to the oath they pretend to uphold. So, while he wants to point the finger and label everyone else a criminal while allowing lawlessness to thrive in his backyard, voters are not so easily fooled. Subsequently, not even he can stop making America great again.
