"China is trying to come on fast and strong and they will if they will be allowed to," Crowder said.

“China can’t move to a functional model. They have a bunch of people who are effectively modern slaves and they can't support the goods and services that we need in a free enterprise society,” Crowder said. “At a certain point, these slaves are going to want to take part and for China to move to a consumption model they would have to empower their citizens to have freedom of choice."

That would go against everything the CCP stands for.

“The only way for this to happen is if the regime topples or there is a civil war,” Crowder said. “It has never ended well; it has never worked out long-term for a communist regime like that.”

Another claim is that because of the amount of Chinese people, makes it inevitable for them to take over as the world’s superpower.

“China’s demographics are terrible,” Crowder said. “The total fertility rate of China is one of the lowest in the world.”

Women have an average of one child, which is 1.7 in the US, 70 percent higher.

In 2024, China's population declined for the third straight year.

According to NPR, “Rising costs of living are causing young people to put off or rule out marriage and childbirth while pursuing higher education and careers. While people are living longer, that's not enough to keep up with the rate of new births.”

Chinese officials also claim that the United States economy is dependent on China.
