After Months Of Gaslighting Customers, Chipotle Admits To Skimping Out On Portion Sizes

Chipotle’s CEO has confirmed what netizens have known to be true, they have been skimping the masses on portion sizes while gaslighting customers into believing this was much ado about nothing.
For the most part, mob mentality is more often wrong than it is right but there's an exception to that rule, and that is when the quality and quantity of food decreases. So when the internet mob complains that Chiplotie is skimping consumers, chances are that’s correct.
For the past several months, customers have been complaining that while their go-to orders have not changed, their burritos have become increasingly smaller. The CEO has been on a media tour denying those allegations, but after an internal investigation, he has confirmed the crimes to be true.
“there was never a directive to provide less to our customers"

According to CBS:
It turns out that Chipotle customers were right in their complaints about skimpy portion sizes at some locations. On Wednesday, CEO Brian Niccol disclosed that a company investigation found that 1 in 10 of its restaurants were too meager with their servings.
Oh, so we are supposed to allow the defendants to investigate their burrito crimes and pretend this is not a conflict of interest?!?
Hey we really missed you guys. For my $12 today I received a 22% underscoop on the meat and a 70% overscoop on the rice. The @ChipotleTweets fraud rolls on. #diabetes pic.twitter.com/3lZiN13d0M

You under-scoop chicken - straight to jail. You over-scoop rice, also straight to jail, right away.
Chipotle looked into the issue after rumors of shrunken portions circulated on social media, including from influential food reviewers on TikTok who shared images of small helpings. Some customers claimed they got bigger meals when they filmed workers putting their orders together.
In its initial response to complaints, Chipotle earlier this month told CBS MoneyWatch that it hadn't changed its portion sizes, but that some meals "may have variability in their size or weight."
On Wednesday, however, Niccol disclosed that skimpy portions have been a problem at about 10% of its roughly 3,500 locations.
If they are saying 10 percent of stores have been skimping customers then we can almost be certain it’s a lot more than that.
Chipotle has found that 10 percent of it's 3,500 locations were scoring poorly on portion sizes. The other 90% were just adding more cilantro.

And while we are on it, can we please bring back the steak they had before 2016? The nasty mystery meat they have now is inedible and it’s time they make right on their crimes against burritos.
According to a 2016 article by Business Insider, "steaks are precooked at a low temperature in an off-site central kitchen, and then shipped to restaurants to be marinated and seared on grills." Subsequently, the steaks are dry and overcooked. It's a total disgrace and it's unclear why netizens are not more outraged.
It's time to make Chipotle great again.
