You youngbloods may not know this, but there was a time when Chris Christie was a conservative icon. From 2009-2012, he was the bomb. Had he run for president in 2012, there is a good chance he would have won. Then there was a hurricane and the liberal media attention he got from dealing with the hurricane, and he went in the other direction. Then when the liberal media turned on him, he went full MAGA. Then when Trump turned on him... he kinda just exists. Though, I am enjoying his reinvention as a pundit.

Exhibit Q was him defecating all over ABC News while they tried celebrating Joe Biden's Inflation "Reduction" Act that doesn't reduce inflation.

"They won on the Inflation Reduction Act, which is a ridiculous name [...] They got Democrats to actually vote for a Democrat bill, what are we going to do? Like, drop the confetti at the White House. I mean this is ridiculous. It’s an inside Washington role."

To prove his point, remember all of Joe Biden's other massive spending bills that passed, that the media said were game changers? They were right in that the job losses, gas hikes, and inflation those bills caused changed the game in favor of Republicans. The media also claims Joe Biden's jobs report should be celebrated. While the media praises a statistic, the American people are losing full-time jobs or need to take a second jobs to make ends meet.

There's also what happens when the Inflation "Reduction" Act doesn't reduce inflation and, most likely, increases it. "The people in the rest of the country, are saying, 'Wait a second, I’m still paying much more for gas than I should. I’m still paying much more to cool my house. I can’t get groceries on the table and I’m worried about the future."'

Just wait for the audits to start with 87,000 new IRS agents. HINT: They aren't going after the Democratic Party's core base of rich, white liberals.

Fat jokes aside, since Christie's fat jokes about himself are funnier, I like this new role for the former Jersey governor. I don't want him to run for president again. But as the sole voice of reason on legacy media shows, he can become more valuable to conservatives.
