IDIOT OF THE YEAR: Chris Cuomo Actually Compares Being Called "Fake News" to the N-Word!
Chris Cuomo is the poster child for everything wrong in media. When we say people don't like Trump as much as they hate the MSM (see New Poll Shows Americans... Trust Trump More Than Media and Joe Scarborough Ground and Pounds Anti-Trump Media Over Fake News), Chris Cuomo is who we're talking about.
So, President Trump was watching TV this morning and he took exception to Cuomo's interview with Sen. Blumenthal.
Trump is 100% in the wrong here. It's not "fake news" to not bring up something that was brought up six years ago (and Connecticut voters didn't care about twice). Not to mention, as you'll see, Cuomo DID ask the Senator about it.
You'll also see Cuomo's douchetastic response to Trump.
"'Fake News' is the worst thing that you could call a journalist. It’s like an ethnic disparagement. We all have these ugly words for people, and that’s the one for journalists."
Oh, it gets better. Later on, during an interview on the Michael Smerconish show...
The only thing that’s bothersome about it, is that I see being called ‘fake news’ as the equivalent of the n-word for journalists, the equivalent of calling an Italian any of the ugly words that people have for that ethnicity. That’s what fake news is to a journalist.
Right. "Fake news," a phrase the press came up with until it got turned around on them for reporting fake news, is totally the same as the n-bomb, the f-word, the b-noun and everything else. Thanks, Coumo. You're now the new contender for Idiot of the Year. Maybe even grand champion idiot of the world.
Now, instead of pointing out how wrong Donald Trump was in a tweet 71% of adults wouldn't have seen, we're mocking the anchor of the CNN morning show. So much for keeping this administration accountable. Also, wasn't one of the tenets of the news to never be a part of the news? How's that going, Chris?
Smooth move, Ex-lax.
