Chris Wallace Confronts Kirsten Gillibrand Over Fox News Criticisms
Do you enjoy a good verbal beatdown? Well, you're gonna love this one. Kirsten Gillibrand was the guest during a Fox News town hall hosted by Chris Wallace. She decided to be ultra-edgy and go after Fox during a response to a question.
Christopher was not having it. At all:
Gillibrand: "What we've created, unfortunately, is a false choice and a false narrative. And Chris I want to talk about the role Fox News plays in this because it's a problem. I can tell you before President Trump gave his State of the Union, Fox News talked about infanticide. Infanticide doesn't exist."Wallace: "Senator, I just wanna say we brought you here for an hour, we're treating you very fairly. I understand maybe to make your credentials with the Democrats who are not appearing on Fox News you're going to attack us. I'm not sure it's frankly very polite when we're invited you to be here. Why don't we, instead of talking about Fox News, why don't you answer Susan's question?"
Boom!
Wallace spanked her, while also being incredibly polite. Translated without the decorum: "You're just trying to get street cred. Spare us your douchebaggery. Now, get yourself some manners and answer this lady's question." There is now no doubt in my mind Chris Wallace keeps his pimp hand strong.
It's fashionable for lefties to hate on Fox News, calling them a bunch of partisan douchenuggets. Except every network has an angle. Rachel Maddow and her sister Chris Hayes are just as much partisans as a Tucker Carlson or a Sean Hannity. The only difference being the MSNBC crowd is on Gillibrand's team.
Personally, I don't think partisanship and news mix well. Though, Kirsten here is trying to make that claim while also ignoring the rampant partisanship of every other network. Yeah, that ain't gonna fly.
