Not even 10 years ago, if you said the military would be paying for Botox, laser hair removal, and lip injections people would look at you like you're insane. But here we are in 2024, where if you object to your tax dollars being spent on this then you are considered a bigot.
A TikTok video is circulating social media after a man made a video talking about how happy he is to be “serving” in the military in a time where his medically unnecessary medical procedures are covered. This includes all the things mentioned above along with the lowering of his hairline.
This man who thinks he’s a woman says he’s glad to be serving in the military now so he can “undergo a full gender transition” and get lip injections, Botox, laser hair removal, and hormones- all paid for by our tax dollars. pic.twitter.com/thxEwSpaee

And in case you were wondering, women who were born a woman can’t get these things, as Botox is only a trans right, not a human right. Because you can’t have equal rights when you have trans rights, only special rights.
Can someone remind me again how anti-aging injections "affirm" the feelings of trans people?
It’s unclear if the US military knows that by being inclusive to trans people they are excluding the majority of the military population from getting these procedures but that’s neither here nor there.
If a woman has hirsutism does she also get laser hair removal? Or is that only a medically unnecessary procedure afforded to men who feel some way? Some women genuinely feel less feminine because of this condition and insurance would laugh in their faces if they even thought about getting laser hair removal. There are also a lot of women with androgenetic alopecia who are not afforded free, surgical interventions to help make them feel more feminine. That is because these are real women born that way, not men who feel some way.
This is the man serving in our Air Force. And it's unclear if your tax dollars paid for his weave.

The military does not even allow people with a history of anxiety to enroll. Yet, they are somehow recruiting members who are part of a group where nearly 60 percent are diagnosed with at least one psychiatric disorder.
What could go wrong?
Maybe one day the Department of Defense will focus on military excellence, but as of writing this, we may have to result in laser hair removal and Botox, because of trans rights or something.
