Christians are always getting a raw deal from the mainstream. Heck, even their namesake savior got jacked up real bad by some douchey city-folk. But, it's all good. He got the last laugh in the end. You know, on account of being God and all. Well, a new study is showing some folks have a big problem with Jesus's 21st century disciples. No surprise there. Wanna take a guess as to how many have been killed and who did the killing?

Christians continued to be the most persecuted group across the globe in 2016, according to a study.

The upcoming report from Italian-based Center for Studies on New Religions, determined that 90,000 Christians were killed for their beliefs worldwide last year and nearly a third were at the hands of Islamic extremists like ISIS. Others were killed by state and non-state persecution, including in places like North Korea.

Let's stop right there. Nearly 100k Christians were killed. One-third, so roughly 30k, killed by the Religion of Peace. How many of you are hearing this for the first time? Right, that's because since Christians being victims of Islam doesn't fit with the "all religions are the problem" or "Islam is the religion of peace" narratives, you've heard nary a peep from the mainstream media Islamic apologists. Since North Korea is communist, and the left secretly hearts communism, they're not going to broadcast that little factoid either.

“U.S. policy has not had a strategy for specifically addressing the persecution of Christians,” Ryan Mauro, national security analyst for the Clarion Project, told FoxNews.com “For example, very few people are even aware that Iraqi Christians began organizing to defend themselves and needed our help."

The study also found that as many as 600 million Christians were prevented from practicing their faith in 2016.

Of course, the mainstream media would have you believe it's the Christians who're perpetrating all the persecuting. Ignore the suicide vests and bloodstained box-trucks. It's the Muslims who are the real victims. But, the numbers and the evidence suggest otherwise.

You and I have known for a long time that Christians are actually the real victims worldwide, not Islam. Christians have been the victims of hate for a long, long time, by the way. But that doesn't matter, you see. Christianity preaches morality, like loving thy neighbor. Being kind to each other. Protecting the least of these. Thou shalt not kill. Islam, by contrast, advocates murdering infidels. Then maybe slapping your wife around, but only if she totally deserves it. So if you're a tolerant leftist, it's rather obvious which religion you give the pass, while projecting fake hate on the other. One religion might turn the other cheek, the other might turn you into ash.
