Church Vandalized With Homophobic Pro-Trump Graffiti. Yep, It's A Hoax...
Leftists are in the midst of what I like to call the Orange Scare, wherein they believe Trump is going to gay-bash America back to the slavery times. The only problem with that claim is the evidence to support it is in short supply. But, when the real Trump hate crimes are scarce, you can always count on the left to MacGuyver themselves up a fabricated act of bigotry. Hoax time, baby!
A Brown County church vandalized with Donald Trump graffiti shortly after the 2016 election wasn't targeted by pro-Trump political activists, but a member of their own congregation, according to police. The Brown County prosecuting attorney's office issued a statement Wednesday saying they had charged 26-year-old George Nathaniel Stang of Bloomington with institutional criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Stang was the man who originally claimed to have found the graffiti, and works as the organist at St. David's Episcopal Church in Bean Blossom.
According to court records, when confronted with the evidence, the 26-year-old gay man confessed.
Investigators say Stang admitted to painting the "Heil Trump" and "Fag Church" graffiti himself because he wanted to "mobilize a movement after being disappointed in and fearful of the outcome of the national election." He insisted his actions were not motivated by anti-Christian or anti-gay sentiments.
So the gay guy was mad because Trump won, and thought it a good idea to frame the Donald as a hater of the gays? That was a pretty gay thing to do.
Not surprising, though. This isn't the first time a leftist has fibbed a little when it comes to conservative hate crimes (read JUSTICE: Muslim Student Charged for Faking “Islamophobic” Hate Crime and HATE CRIME HOAX: Mississippi Church Member Charged in ‘Vote Trump’ Arson).
This dude-loving chap had to fabricate an instance of that pro-Trump hatred we always hear about from the media. Instead of staging a hoax, if the gentleman was wanting to feel oppressed, couldn't he have just found a real pro-Trump hate crime to satisfy his urge to be marginalized? Oh, that's right. Pro-Trump hate crimes would have to exist in the first place for him to do that. But, I suppose that's just a detail.
You know, my dear fancy lad, if you're that desperate to be hated, you could just come on over to our side. Conservative hate crimes may be scarce, but hate from the left is in great supply. If you want to be called every vile word ending with an "ist," be beaten and tortured, and be on the receiving end of calls for genocide, simply hoist Old Glory high on your property and start liking America. Believe me, the hate will come.
Just like every other anti-Trump "movement," this one was completely founded on lies. Rather than putting in some intellectual labor to get their points across, leftists cheat by moving the goalpost and faking hate crimes to discredit conservatives. Which is why everything counts as hate speech now. Such things are dishonest dickery. Not that we would expect any less.
By the way, hate speech isn't a thing...
