Clint Eastwood has been triggering leftist cryholes long before it was cool (see PC Liberals Furious At Clint Eastwood Over Caitlyn Jenner Joke and Clint Eastwood: ‘Hey Liberals, Most people DON’T Win’). In fact, he's been triggering liberals since before "triggering" was even thing. It may have all started when Eastwood first played Dirty Harry, which he reminisced about over the weekend at the Cannes Film Festival.

He also lamented over the fact that such a movie couldn't be made today, what with the outrage brigade running amok...

“It was far-out at that time, so I brought it to [director] Don [Siegel], and he liked it,” Eastwood recalled Sunday during a visit to the Cannes Film Festival. “A lot of people thought it was politically incorrect. That was at the beginning of the era that we’re in now with political correctness. We are killing ourselves, we’ve lost our sense of humor. But I thought it was interesting and it was daring.”

Eastwood has waxed lyrical on the theme of political correctness before. Last year, he hailed Mr Trump as a foe of political correctness and 'the kiss-ass generation'.

'We're really in a p*ssy generation. Everybody's walking on eggshells,' he said. 'We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren't called racist.'

Yes -- I, too, remember the good ole days when even controversial things like math weren't called racist. Eastwood has a point here. Could you imagine Hollywood making a Dirty Harry movie today? Didn't think so. After all, this is the same Hollywood who pulled these virtue signaling stunts...

Of course, these are just a few examples. It seems celebrity whinage is ever looming overhead, ready to strike at any moment. Like diabetes at a fat pride panel.

So kudos to Clint Eastwood for always having the manberries to call out these blubbering milquetoasts. If current leftist "film professionals" had it their way, great films like Dirty Harry may have never made it to the silver screen.
