By the look of it, Hollywood's rapery and all-around degeneracy has rubbed off on Washington. Maybe the other way around? Either way, the accusations are a startin' to fly like Amy Schumer's clothes at a Chippendale's concert (see Innocent Until Guilty? Yes. A panel on CNN convened to downplay discuss the latest accusations against Senator Al Franken. Seems as though sexual harassment is no big deal to them, so long as you're a left-wing private citizen at the time:

A Thursday afternoon CNN Newsroom panel showcased political tribalism as three liberal journalists downplayed the disturbing sexual misconduct allegations against Democratic Senator Al Franken (Minn.) by harping on the fact that Franken was “just a comedian” while those against Roy Moore and President Trump were far more serious.

So, wait. These CNN dip-sticks think because Franken was a comedian at the time, his pervyness is somehow less scandalous?

What about the Donald? Leftists love to remind us of his former career as a reality show star. He was reality-starring it up when he talked about consensually grabbing Georgia peaches. In a private conversation. But, Donald's status never stopped the left from leading an all-out media assault on him that's still ongoing.

If Franken were a Republican, these haggard wenches would be calling for his curly-haired noggin on a platter. But, seeing as Al has a "D" after his name, leftist talking heads will do whatever it takes to downplay his pervy ways and keep his lumpy posterior puckered up for more naughty spankings. How many more bewbs will he fondle?

This rampant hypocrisy and deflection isn't the least bit surprising. It took the left twenty years to even consider the accusations against Bill Clinton. So, maybe by 2037 we'll get a little honesty from them on Franken.
