CNN Commentator Accidentally Makes Argument in Favor of Wall Funding
With another shutdown in full swing, both sides are playing a big round of the blame game. Each side wants to paint the other as a bunch of obstructionist douchenuggets hellbent on gridlock. Mostly, it's a bunch of lefty butt-dumplings who refuse to allow us to build a border wall. They have yet to present a valid excuse as to why.
This CNN commentator tried arguing against the shutdown. He accidentally made a case for wall funding instead. Check it out:
"Look, look at the size of the American budget. The president's asking for $5 billion. According to what I see, as a non-political guy who's been watching this for 35 years, there's been an offer of $1.6 billion. My simple math tells me these guys can't figure out, particularly with the president, who's refused to sign a bill approved by both Senate Republicans and Democrats, can't figure out how to bridge $3.4 billion, which is a decimal point in the budget?"
Yeah, Mr. anti-Trumper just accidentally made a case in favor of funding the wall.
Trump's trying to score a measly $5 billion for a concrete slab stretching across the border. In terms of the federal budget, that's microscopic. It's hardly the type of thing requiring the government to move a bunch of greenbacks around. Funnily enough, Argentinian clown schools and lesbian pudge studies are worthy of tax dollars. Border security, not so much.
It's not like Trump's asking for a minefield or machine gun nests on the wall. There's zero reasonable objections why we can't put a barrier between us and rapey murder types who want to come over here uninvited.
Let's be real here. Lefties like Mr. commentator are standing in the way of the wall because Republicans are the ones who want it. They have no decent reasons as to why, other than their desire to be partisan dinguses. Sad.
