CNN chooses wrong Maine resident to push gun control on: "I wish I had a firearm"
The Maine gunman is still on the loose as of this writing. Over the past 24 hours, he has been captured, surrounded, compromised, and/or killed. CNN is on the ground looking for residents scared enough to call for gun control but chose the wrong guy for their agenda. He's perfect for Americans.
On Wednesday in Lewiston, Maine, a man went on a shooting rampage that killed at least eighteen people, injuring dozens more. It started at the Walmart distribution center where "Cory's" daughter worked. She's thankfully okay, though the family is understandably rattled.
CNN wanted to know how scary it was the see all these long guns being carried by cops while they searched the neighborhood, and "Cory" stopped the reporter right there.
"That actually made me feel better seeing the cops coming around here. That makes me feel a million times better. And in situations like this, I wish I had a firearm."
It's one thing to wait until the dust settles to try and scare people into gun control. Not that journalismers do. There is a brief waiting period between hearing a gun go off and confirming the shooter's identity doesn't get in the way of any media narratives before the gun control demands start.
However, the worst time to do it? While a town is in lockdown and a gunman is on the loose. You can interview someone with David Hogg's face tattooed on their back and they'd wish they had a gun to defend themselves. The last thing on normal people's minds is more laws and regulations for the government to NOT enforce. One thing many of these shooters have in common is the words "fell through the cracks." "Was known by the feds" is also common.
It's hard for many in the media to understand. But when there is a tragic mass murder, the last thing people are concerned about is to make things HARDER for residents to defend themselves.
Why do you think so many Jews have been showing up at gun ranges this month?
