We all know how this is going to end. It may have already ended by the time you read this. The CNN PR account will tweet an apology. The CNN journalismer responsible will beg for forgiveness and possibly accept a suspension to go educate himself. A non-profit will get a sizable check. Let's not be sad that this ridiculousness is over. Let's appreciate that it happened.

CNN reporter Ryan Young referred to controversial titface performer Dylan Mulvaney by the WRONG pronouns. Even worse, no one corrected him live on air.

In a segment giving the LGBTQAI+2EIEIO perspective on the Bud Light drama, correspondent Ryan Young referred to Mulvaney as as a "he" and a "him."

He, of course, is the transgender person they were going to sponsor and go along with.

[Activists] didn’t like how Bud Light didn’t stand by him after all this.

Mulvaney goes by a she/they. I mean, my God man. Even I, the rightwing sunovabitch blogger, know the proper pronouns. Sure, when I use them it's out of a great sense of mockery and sarcasm, and am of the belief sometimes the preferred pronouns are funnier to use if you're a cunning linguist. But you're CNN, son! Act like this is important.

According to the New York Post, Twitter was quick to do Twitter things in response:

“God damn, that sucked."

“Wow, absolute garbage segment.”

"Despicably poor ‘journalism.'”

"What horrible coverage and the pundit couldn’t even correct the misgendering of Dylan. This makes me sad."

When reached for comment, Dylan was on holiday in Central America. Her/them was busy playing with a Llama.

It is a clear, OBVIOUS... I guess we'll call it a "mistake" because we're playing with liberal media definitions here. Up until the visit to the White House, I legit thought Dylan Mulvaney was a parody. If I were to think of a dude who hated women and pretended to be a woman on TikTok to make fun of what he thought of women, it would look no different than a Dylan Mulvaney video.

These things happen, Ryan Young. Don't beat yourself up over it. That is what your colleagues in the media are for.
