I'm old enough to remember when Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) thought overturning Roe v Wade was going to wipe out Republicans in November. Women, being the single issue voters the left and media think they are, would be so angry that if they wanted an abortion there might be restrictions in some states would be so angry, they'd shun other more important issues. "Roevember" was a common term. CNN's Harry Eten is here to late-term abort all those hopes and dreams.

Eten took a look at what concerns voters have going into midterms. At the top of the list? Inflation at 82%. Coming in number two is crime at 72%. And way down the list, coming in at 7th with a bullet (or a forceps) is abortion with only 56%. Quothe Guru Eten:

“This split, between crime being so high and abortion so low, was quite a shocker to me."

Golly. I have such a hard time imagining that an employee of CNN would be shocked that more Americans don't care about abortion. Or would be so clueless as to not grasp what issues American voters ACHSHUALLY care about.

It's the Democrats. Is it the Democrats? I think Scott Jennings means the Democrats.

Here's a disconnect that leftists and media members (but I repeat myself) who live in a bubble of people who agree with them about everything may miss. Voters obsessed with abortion already are loyal democrat voters. They are also primarily in reliable leftist voting areas like New York, where if you give NY democrats another year or two they'll have abortion legal into the seventh trimester. Abortion isn't at risk of going anywhere in the places were voters are the most-pro abortion.

Though if you have a family and aren't concerned that should you choose an abortion you would only have three months to make that decision, being able to afford to support that family is a more important issue. Concern over your family members being allowed to leave the house without bring attacked or murdered is a more important issue.

That's why inflation and crime are top of the list. Joe Biden's Ddemocrat party and his supporters in the media are on the wrong side of history of both issues.
