CNN presenter Reza Aslan has been heavily criticized after he ate part of a human brain while filming with a Hindu cannibal sect in India.

The episode, part of a series called Believer with Reza Aslan, was shown on Sunday. It provoked horror and dismay from many viewers and an angry backlash by Hindus in America.

Tulsi Gabbard, the only Hindu in Congress, tweeted: 'I am very disturbed that CNN is using its power and influence to increase people’s misunderstanding and fear of Hinduism.'

He also drank booze out of a human skull before eating the brains. I guess it pairs better that way. Who am I to judge, as someone who favors not eating human skull mush? It's just a cultural difference, you ignorant tosh. Eat it or be called an insensitive bigot.

Nice try, but not really. If a Christian had offered a journalist a delicacy ala cranium, methinks the world wide internet would burn itself a new hole to hell. Eating human parts is in no way civilized, not now, not then, not ever. We can talk about survival while stuck in a freezing mountain pass another time. We're talking here about what Reza did for ratings, though. So Donner Party dinner bells don't exactly measure up.

Lemme go conspiratorial on you. Any chance Reza went to Hindu extremists to prove that #NotJustMuslims are into kooky stuff? Muslim extremists turn people into human mush, and the Hindu extremists dine upon it? Ergo ISLAM ISN'T ALONE IN ITS CRAY CRAY. Just my hypothesis.
