CNN Uses Elmo from Sesame Street to Push Refugee Agenda
If it seems like we're picking on CNN lately it's because we are (see 3 CNN Employees Forced to Resign After Pushing Trump-Russia Fake News and BUSTED: Project Veritas Catches Van Jones Admitting Trump-Russia Story is a 'Nothing Burger'). It's CNN. They're terrible and, quite frankly, not mocking them causes us physical pain. Like razor burn for the soul. Here's CNN using Elmo - yes, from Sesame Street - to push their pro-refugee agenda.
“It was really sad because Elmo’s new friends told Elmo that they had to leave their homes because it wasn’t safe for them to stay, and that made Elmo really sad and sometimes a bit scared.”
Sure, I could do the outrage thing. I could write about how offensive it is to use a beloved children's icon to push an agenda. I can point out how the issue isn't with refugee children, it's with refugee adults who pretend to be children and/or get rapey/self-explosive.
But let's skip it. Like how a Muslim migrant skips the part where they ask for consent prior to gang-raping anyone. Who exactly is CNN's audience? Had this video been used to target the message to children, it would almost make more sense. But what five year old is going to say, "Mommy! Elmo on Facebook live! Bring in the refugees! I want Ahmad Muhammad Mohamed as my new best friend!"
No, this was a segment for adults. CNN got a muppet to speak on the refugee ban. For people who probably use the term "adulting" to describe paying their bills. Or asking their moms to do the laundry.
What, were The Wiggles already booked on MSNBC to sing a song about bathroom laws?
If CNN is still wondering why everyone points and laughs at them, call an ambulance. Of whatever vehicle is used to usher in the charming men in white coats.
