You know how college is ridiculously overpriced? Degrees can now cost as much as houses. Without the benefit of accruing value or equity. Or providing a place to, you know... live. Schools try to justify this over-inflated cost with various programs, student benefits, and the ever useful ability to whine (see Binghamton University Offers Student Training to... 'Stop White People'!?). Then there's scholarships and grants to help offset the cost, like this one. It's an SJW grant from Kalamazoo. I poop-swastica you not.

Kalamazoo College is offering students grants of up to $1,500 to cover the costs of "social justice leadership" projects, including protests, conferences, and trainings.

WTF does "training" entail? Teaching protesters how to protest?

The "Social Justice Leadership Fund," organized by the non-partisan Arcus Center for Social Justice, offers Kalamazoo students, faculty, and staff grants ranging from $50 to $1,500 to engage in social justice "advocacy," "research," and "leadership development."

"Nonpartisan."

Glance over just how nonpartisan the grant really is.

Earlier this year, for example, a number of students received financial support to attend an immigration rally in Washington, D.C to advocate for "comprehensive immigration policies." The fund also sent more than 40 students to a "2.5 day anti-racism workshop," sponsored a documentary on "anti-abortion violence," and sent six students to a three-day "Black Male Summit."

So with the college world facing a recent string of students dropping out, activism is what they chose to prioritize. Okay then.

It goes without saying, but, those with a right wing political leaning need not apply. Kalamazoo is encouraging, paying, and training little, militant social justice warriors. Many who have a future of welfare and disability check collecting. Fun times. And no such Kalamazoo grant exists for conservatives, in case you were wondering. Not that anybody in the history of ever will find that tidbit of knowledge surprising. It makes perfect sense for the left to ensure the survival of its future by infecting the open minds of younger generations.
