Last year we thought we'd seen the height of evil when it came to abortion. But 2018 has come knocking, coat hanger in hand. Apparently the abortion movement is now hungry for post-natal flesh. Here's a video of a college student making the case for infanticide. Because killing fetuses is so 2017. Time to move on to the pesky neonates!

Students for Life of America’s Appalachian Regional Coordinator, Brenna Lewis, recorded an encounter with a pro-choice student, who sought to justify his support for infanticide of two-year-olds. The student attends University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The student claimed that because a two-year-old may not be sentient, that the two-year-old baby does not have the same right to life. He also compared its rights to that of a tree. Because the baby cannot talk, for example, the student argued that it did not have the same rights.

This isn't coming from some basement-dwelling fringe group. Such noxious notions are prevalent on campus. If anyone's going to justify the snuffing of young tots, it's college students. They suffer under the heft of leftist indoctrination. This blabbing comes as zero surprise considering the anti-child climate being fostered by liberal academics. The moral status of an infant is equivalent to that of a fetus, that is, neither can be considered a ‘person’ in a morally relevant sense.

It is not possible to damage a newborn by preventing her from developing the potentiality to become a person in the morally relevant sense.
