Let's rewind to the mass sex attacks that took place in Cologne on New Year's Eve seven months ago. First, the German police were instructed to essentially cover up the details. Then they took embarrassing measures to try to minimize migrant rape. They did so in the most politically correct way possible (see Germany Takes Measures to Curb Islamic Rape... With Leaflets?). To the point that many readers of LwC thought that we must've been quoting an article from TheOnion. Surprise, surprise... It didn't work. But it did make German officials look like a congregation of boobs. Ones grabbed by handsy refugees.

As you can guess, Germany's citizens have long grown tired of all the rape. Rape does that to people. And for a while it started to look like Germany was going to step up its game. It was taking steps to legitimately act in the best interest of its people. The non-jihadist-less-rapey kind. Except, as it turns out, Germany sucks at convicting sex offenders.

Two men who were part of the 'mass frenzy' of sexual assaults in Cologne on New Year's Eve grinned and cheered outside court yesterday after only being handed suspended sentences. The Iraqi man and an Algerian were found guilty for their behaviour on New Year's Eve in the city. They were the first of dozens to answer for sex crimes... Their victims openly wept in court as they described the torment they had gone through during and after the assaults.

This is just further proof that Germany still doesn't know how to deal with migrants. Well, neither does the rest of the "free" world. The system is falling apart... If there ever really was a working system in the first place. When it comes to Germany, probably not. Let's be honest, they've never gotten their crap together. Outside of a few cool cars, their history books are just one black eye after another. The worst part? All of this could have been avoided had Merkel cared to ensure the national security of her country. Clearly that wasn't the case... And yet still, she's heralded as one of the greatest progressive leaders of our time. Just not by Germans, who hate her guts. That tends to happen when you screw over your country. Or in her case, allow your countrymen/women to get screwed. Literally. NOTE: proper use of the word "literally".
