One blue state's school districts are already making plans to RESIST President Trump's deportation orders
Someone should really tell Colorado public schools that they don't have more authority than the federal government, but these people don’t like to let facts interfere with their fear-mongering agenda.
Some school districts in Colorado have announced plans to combat ICE and resist Trump’s deportation plan. However, the only problem with that is that elementary schools are the last place ICE plans to go but these people thrive on fear and chaos.

According to 9NEWS:
Denver Public Schools Superintendent Alex Marrero sent a memo to DPS principals last week, which said if a government official shows up at one of their schools: don't let them in. Marrero's memo instructed staff to use the intercom and find out what agency they are with, why they are there, and if they have a warrant. If they have a warrant, the memo says to ask for a copy. If they don't, tell them to leave.
The memo included scheduling for training for staff on what to do if an agent showed up.
Is this their announcement that they intend to defy federal law? Because I do not think that is the example they should be setting for students. Additionally, how many migrant children do they have where this is even remotely necessary?
Aurora Public Schools has a similar policy. It says if an agent asks to speak with a student, "Politely inform the federal immigration officer that we have a process regarding requests to talk to our students and that you will need to contact the APS Office of General Counsel." The policy then instructs staff to find an author to find a school leader who should ask the immigration officer to give you a few minutes to call the legal office. You can ask them to wait outside the school."
The policy though does have an exception. "There may be extremely rare situations where the federal immigration officer tells you something along the lines of: This is an emergency or these are “exigent circumstances.” Alternatively, the immigration officer might say something like: I am giving you a lawful order to let me talk to this student. In this situation, you should comply with the officer’s order and not interfere. Immediately contact the APS legal office," it says.
Rather than focus their efforts on defying federal orders, these people should be doing all they can to educate the next generation, but that is not their priority.
The fact that many public schools are run by activists is deeply concerning and pathetic, as they pretend they have more power than the federal government.
Additionally, the fact that one of the districts was in Aurora is so predictable, as this is the same city that let transitional gang members wreak havoc on Americans and then protect them for months.
Anyone in favor of this policy is not interested in putting American citizens first, and they have no place in any part of this nation’s public school system.
