Compelled speech is unconstitutional speech, despite how one “feels” deep down inside. So, while it would be unconstitutional for the government to require you to properly gender someone, it’s also wrong for them to require one to gender someone improperly. However, the latter is so much worse because it’s a lie but the pursuit of truth won’t stop Colorado Dems from trying.

Under this new bill, schools cannot mandate dress codes based on gender. Therefore, men can wear skirts, and no one can do anything about it if passed. It would also make it a crime to intentionally misgender someone. And the worst part is the custody provision, which “would prohibit using a transgender parent’s identity against them and would shield parents who allow their kids to get gender-affirming care.”

Under the bill, school dress codes could not be based on gender and would have to allow students to dress according to any version of the dress code. The measure would also create new requirements for school policies around students’ chosen names.

When it comes to the courts, the bill would provide protections during child custody hearings. It would prohibit using a transgender parent’s identity against them and would shield parents who allow their kids to get gender-affirming care.

It would also make it a violation of the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act to purposefully misgender someone.

So, in other words, it mandates lies and trashes parental rights. And the fact that these people think this is the compassionate thing to do is deranged.

What if a trans person intentionally misgenders a non-trans person? Would that also be a crime, or are we no longer abiding by this little thing called "equality under the law?"

I think you know the answer to that. Nonethless, the Dems have yet to realize that this crap is deeply unpopular and the fact that they are trying to change the status quo to affirm lies is something that should never be condoned.
