Tuesday morning, Colorado authorities identified the Colorado shooting suspect as 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa. Alissa is being charged with ten counts of first-degree murder. Shortly after news of Monday's atrocity broke, Democrats were quick to push for gun control. There were also assumptions made on social media that the shooter was identified as a white male. As we're finding out, after waiting for facts to come it, that is not the case.

1. When the suspect was first identified Tuesday morning, his Facebook page was still available online. We covered it on Louder with Crowder and identified a post with a Muslim prayer, calling for praise to Allah.

2. The suspect's Facebook page has since been taken down.

3. Prior to the suspect's page being taken down, Andy Ngo uncovered multiple posts complaining about Islamophobia. One 2019 post reads: "Yeah if these racist Islamophobic people would stop hacking my phone and let me have a normal life I probably could."

4. The suspect is also believed not to be a fan of Donald Trump. There was a 2018 post that said of the former president: "[Trump] inherited a growing economy and the unemployment rate was low. The economy was on an upward spiral. He won because of racism."

5. Many verified Twitter users were quick to accuse the suspect of being a white male. Many tweets as of this writing were still available on Twitter. Some Twitter users appeared to change their perspective on the shooter overnight.

The tweet on the evening of March 22 reads: "The shooter was taken into custody. In other words it was almost certainly a white man (again). If he were Black or Brown he would be dead." Upon finding out the user was not in fact a white man, the user struck a different tone: "Let's mourn the victims, but not glorify the killer with the attention of having his name widely known."

As of this writing, the suspect's motive is unknown. It is important to wait for all the facts to come in before rendering judgment. For example, an Atlanta shooting was quickly identified as a hate crime. Yet when police presented facts to the press, there was no evidence to back that claim up. At this point, all we can do is offer thoughts and prayers to the victims' families. May they all receive swift legal justice.

And may the accused find swift prison justice.
