Graduation ceremonies are a way for students to celebrate their achievements and dedication to the work they have put in towards academic discipline. It’s a symbolic way to show pride in one's achievements.

That said, graduation ceremonies are one of the most boring things to sit through in life - no matter who it is for. So much so that I refused to attend my own college graduation. Nonetheless, these events are something that has been going on for a very long time.

And at one point in American History, segregated graduation ceremonies were a thing.

We all know the biggest proponents back then for segregated ceremonies were Democrats. So of course, Progressives are the ones trying to desperately bring back this abhorrent “tradition.”

According to Campus Reform:

Columbia College and Columbia Engineering will host a variety of special graduations based on students’ race and sexual orientation from May 1-15.

These “Multicultural Graduation Celebrations” aim to provide “more intimate settings for students who self-identify in a variety of ways,” according to Columbia’s website.

The Ivy League institution will host segregated ceremonies for Asian, black, “Latinx,” and “Lavender” (for those who identify as “LGBTQIA+”) students, among other categories, with all of these ceremonies being sponsored or co-sponsored by Columbia’s Multicultural Affairs office, as seen on the website.

We can all sleep better knowing that Columbia College will have segregated ceremonies for “lavender students.”

It is also important to note that “Latin” was ALREADY a gender-neutral term but Progressives have OCD over language control as they are definition vampires. They literally live off of rewriting language and definitions. Because that is the only way they can control the narrative and defend their deranged ideology.

Multicultural Affairs believes that “[d]diversity and inclusion are not only central to the student experience, they are key components to learning and development,” the office’s page states.

“Multicultural Affairs recognizes that identity, social responsibility, allyship and equity must be addressed at multiple interconnected levels to best support students’ various developmental stages,” the page reads.

I hate the word “allyship".” Anyone who uses the word “ally” is a cringe monster and should never be taken seriously.

I really don’t have to tell you why it’s wrong for universities to hold segregated ceremonies. Especially, when they benefit from taxpayer funds. But these people truly think they are doing the Lord's work in their move to normalize this.

This is apparently also an attempt to “encourage diversity.” However, I have seen no evidence to suggest that diversity benefits much of anything. Especially, considering diversity is just another way for the Left to promote their racist policies that resemble the Jim Crow era more than anything.

But none of this is shocking because it was the Democratic party who championed AGAINST passing the Civil Rights Act. Now, the party of the KKK is bringing back segregation with no shame in their game. And no one should be here for it.
