Joe Biden held a meeting with his "competition" council to discuss ways to lower inflation on Monday. If this CNBC report is any indication, 70% of Americans were too busy looking for a second job to notice. But they will be free on November 8th.

Biden convened whatever the deuce his "competition" council is to discuss ways to combat the inflation crippling American families thanks to his leadership. One would think this should have been a meeting before the passage of his so-called Inflation Reduction Act which critics claim doesn't reduce inflation, was never meant to reduce inflation, and will most likely make inflation worse.

While Biden holds public meetings for one of the only constituencies that haven't left him yet -- the mainstream media -- 70% of Americans are left to figure it out on their own.

Families (aka voters) are finding that, despite no changes to their daily habits, making ends meet is increasingly difficult when the cost of their weekly grocery bill or to fill up their gas tank has doubled.

• Nearly 70% of Americans are looking for extra work
• 85% of Americans have changed their spending habits
• 72% say it’s impacted how they view their job
• 57% have taken on new or additional roles in only the past year

To put these numbers in perspective. In last month's "good" jobs report the White House bragged about? A lot of it was due to full-time losses being lessened by the increase in part-time work and people taking second jobs.

Set aside any statistic the left and the media are holding on to so they can claim the Biden economy sucks less than advertised. The only number that matters to voters when they go into the voting booth? Start with yourself. Ask yourself if you're struggling. Now, plus or minus everyone you know who is or isn't struggling. When 70% of Americans go to vote in November, the number will be in negative territory.
