In the wake of Will Smith’s assault and battery of Chris Rock at this year’s Oscars, there have been several different takes. Poll ten people, and you’ll get 7 ½ different opinions. But no one has come out to say anything concrete… Until now. Comedian Ryan Long took it upon himself to come out and say what absolutely needed to be said: That jokes about bald wives have always been and will always be off-limits.

I’m glad somebody said it. These kinds of taboo jokes have no place in our civilized society. This goes right up there with basically anything said by Dave Chappelle which, as we all very well know, is akin to some of the most egregious human rights violations. Everyone is focused on the war crimes going on in the Russia-Ukraine war, but they aren’t paying any attention to the abhorrent conduct of Chris Rock on the stage at the Oscars! It’s despicable, I tell you!

Certainly, Hollywood is taking the new anti-bald wife jokes rule extremely seriously. I hear they’re actually looking into setting up some kind of tribunal to pass down sentences on those who make such extremely distasteful comments. The judges will all be sex perverts and all other manners of deviants, but the pool of Hollywood elites to serve on the bench is limited, and one works with what one is given.
