Native Californian here. Born, raised and fled. When I heard Daily Wire would make an exodus out of the stinking pile that is California, I texted a peer over there and congratulated her for the win. Living in California, while beautiful and the weather in Southern California is incredible, ranks somewhere below plastic vomit. You and I aren't the only ones who've noticed how deep into the festering heap the once great State of California has slid. Comedian JP Sears has also observed the smoldering ash.

JP took no prisoners, smacking around Gavin Newsom, Nancy Pelosi, and L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti. When he was done hitting those fascist morons for their awful draconian shutdown policies, JP then took aim at California protecting pedophiles. Kind of him to leave the gang problem on the table.

California has become a punchline for much of the country. JP Sears, like every other state resident who's seeing Californians flood into their states with various degrees of freedom, advises Californians to smarten up and not vote for the same ideas that led them to pack up and run. I tend to agree, but as someone who left California, I can promise you many of the Californians heading anywhere else are the good ones. Take Daily Wire for example. Or Joe Rogan. Elon Musk. It's not just the whiners leaving the city, it's good people who want to live their best lives in freer states. They're giving up one of the prettier places in the world to do so.

While I'm generally one who says "Stay and fight" and left California for mostly financial reasons, I think California may need to get worse before it can get better. Unfortunately I'm not sure the lesson will be learned, just based on Detroit still struggling under the same liberal policies which led it down such a dark path.

But who am I kidding. Walking through streets littered with heroin needles and the feces of homeless people is the American dream. Surely anyone would want to live there and pay high taxes, yeah?
