It's clear that cancel culture is starting to come back to bite the leftists who started cancel culture in their smug little heinies. IT'S THE ONLY APPROPRIATE RESPONSE.). But according to satirist Jonathan Pie, what did these idiots expect? This is the world they created.

I'm not sure what set off this rant. Something about the Labour Party and anti-Semitism. Honestly? Instead of doing research, I was more concerned with trying to work "perma-offended woke twats" into the headline, but determined it would run afoul of Facebook's new algorithm changes.

It's what you've always wanted: People losing their jobs for retweeting the wrong opinions. Exactly the same people that have their pitchforks primed for any careless slip of the the tongue or unthinking moment online, they're up in arms. Well, you f***ing shouldn't be. Because this is the world that YOU created. You can't have it both ways.

The brilliance of this and many of Pie's other rants is twofold. One, without even knowing the original news story he's talking about, everything he says here easily applies to the exciting ways leftists are trying the cancel everyone and everything here. The other requires some homework. Go to a YouTube or Twitter search and check out the comedian's thoughts on Donald Trump or Nigel Farage. My dude isn't exactly on our team politically. Far from it. Issue by issue, I'm fairly certain he disagrees with us on all of it. But the far left has even turned him off.

Cancel culture exists because of a small minority of people talking the loudest on Twitter, the social media platform used by the smallest number of people. I hate the term "silent majority," but there are more of us than there are of them. We need to do a better job of working together and pushing back against the perma-offended woke twats.
