Comedian Louis C.K. Makes Shockingly Insightful Abortion Comments
It's not that this Louis C.K. bit is "pro-life." We don't want to accidentally mislead you into believing the comedian is Marching for Life. But celebrities are usually so pro-abortion if they want to keep their jobs, anything that isn't 100% ABORT ALL THE BABIES grabs a lot of attention, some unwanted (see Nick Cannon DOUBLES DOWN: Goes Off Against Racist Planned Parenthood for Genocide and Kelsey Grammer Comes out as Pro-Life with EPIC T-Shirt)
This video is, of course, NSFW in the slightest. But do play it in front of your smug Millennial cousin and watch their head explode.
I just think it has to be one or the other. You know, like when people say, ‘Abortion should be legal, safe and rare.’ Why rare if it should be legal? If it should be legal it’s s****ing. If it should be rare, it’s murdering babies.
No, you shouldn't confuse Louis C.K. as someone who has a collection of "Make America Great Again" hats. It's ok to not agree on everything. But to see a smattering of public figures "agreeing" with us on the big things? I'll take it.
Because Louis C.K. posed thought-inspiring questions. Again, he's not changing his avatar to an unborn baby, then funding David Daleiden. He's making a point in a comedy routine. He's saying if abortion is no big deal, like dropping a deuce, then who cares if it's rare? If it should be "rare" then it should be rare because it's killing babies. Pick, you can't have both. Even though pro-abortion advocates want both. Get off the fence, make up your minds.
There are multiple ways to address the abortion issue. Each tactic has its merits. Louis C.K. took the backdoor approach. It won't change the minds of die-hard abortion enthusiasts, but it might plant a thought seed in others. And who knows, the thought seed might be just enough to sway a young couple or even just a young woman from chopping up an unborn child. I'll take it.
