Enter Condoleezza Rice.

Joy Behar and her intellectually stunted compadres on the left haven't gotten over 2016. Queen Cankles being denied the throne still stings them in all their sensitive areas. The View Coven wanted Condi to say Russia hacked the election. They wanted Condi to admit Trump dreams of pleasuring Putin. They wanted Condi to say Hillary is the rightful ruler and should usurp the Cheeto-complected POTUS.

I believe Condi's response is what social media marketers refer to as a "truth bomb."

I trust the people who voted in Wisconsin and Texas and Alabama and California to have voted on the basis of who they thought was best going to represent their interests. And so I'm not going to question the legitimacy of their vote because Vladimir Putin tried to interfere in the elections. That's just a step that I don’t think we should take. Let’s trust our fellow citizens to have been smart enough to have voted for the people they thought they ought to be voting for.

Democrats trust people to make their own decisions?

That's the funniest thing I've ever heard.

Let's set aside how Joy and her cackling sisters were determined to de-legitimize El Trump-o as president. I'll come back to that in a jiffy. First, let's note the pure class of Condi Rice. She knew she was entering the lioness den. That Whoopi (what the heck kind of shirt was she wearing?) would try to smack her around. She knew Joy Behar would attempt a spike hit. Regardless, Condi patiently explained (with politeness befitting a queen), why The View coven had everything wrong. Putin has always tried to interfere with elections. What with him being our enemy. Rex Tillerson would naturally try to cozy up to someone leading a country with rich oil potential. Government officials who work with foreign officials would obviously talk with those foreign officials. Not everything is a conspiracy befitting a tin-foil hat Pampered Chef party.

Now, as much as we may not like it, Trump won, Hillary lost. At some point, the left needs to accept the outcome of the election. Heck, at some point the right needs to accept it as well. Perhaps instead of bitching about it, we can both learn from the results. Better preparing the next candidates and their campaigns based on 2016. Sound reasonable?

Course it does. Which is why no one will do it.
