Women have the vote. Women have equal pay (despite what shrill feminists allege). Women can now enter men's bathrooms and take a try at the urinal. If, that is, they're feeling mannish. Or they like to see men's ding-alings (watch VIDEO: Reporter Poses as Sex Offender. Exposes NC Officials Aiding Abuse of 'Bathroom Laws'). That wasn't enough for our modern day warriors of the perpetually empty wombs. Feminists still complained about not having "equality." Good news, ladies. This recently passed bill comes as a huge success for equality. But for women? Not so much.

Women would be required to register for the military draft under a House committee's bill that comes just months after the Defense Department lifted all gender-based restrictions on front-line combat units. A divided Armed Services Committee backed the provision in a sweeping defense bill that the full House will consider next month, touching off a provocative debate about the role of women in the military.

All right. Firstly, the ladies who volunteer to be in military combat can barely meet the physical requirements (Equality? Pull-ups OPTIONAL for Wimpy Female Marines). Then, of course, a number of women who can make the basic requirements still scrub out at other combat positions (read 30th Woman to Attempt Marines Infantry Officer Course Fails... Again). Then there was that one broad who, after being the first woman to enlist for a combat position, with heaps of praise from the feminist-foward crowd, went AWOL. Reminder: these are women who volunteered. They actually wanted to be in the military. They couldn't hack it in combat roles.

Trigger-warning: biological truths. Women, on the whole, aren't as physically strong as men. On the whole. Which means women in combat roles makes as much sense as enlisting a Jack Russell Terrier to pull a truck. Calm down ladies, I'm not calling you dogs. It's an analogy. Fine. Here's a less triggery one. Putting women on the front lines of combat makes as much sense as trying to sell magazines with Lena Dunham on the cover. Nude.

Once again, the role of the military is for national defense. Putting women on the front lines for combat, because they're not as physically strong as men, is a losing bargain. For the military as a whole, for the unit the women are in, and for the women themselves. There is zero benefit for putting women in combat roles. Zero. Now, should women be drafted for other military responsibilities which do not require them to be in combat? That's a different debate. But being drafted into combat? It's a disaster waiting to happen to more than just the women who get drafted.
