Congress Demands Answers from ABC News for Spiking Epstein Story
This isn't over. Megyn Kelly seems rather determined to get to the bottom of the Epstein scandal we're all fascinated by. Yes, even you people who say you're not fascinated by it. She obtained a letter from Kevin McCarthy, House Minority Leader, sent to James Goldston the president of ABC News, which asked ABC News what the absolute holy hell were they thinking? And do they have evidence they've been sitting on to protect pedophilic assholes? At least that's the subtext. A partial transcript is below Megyn's Instagram post.
Partial transcript:
In the video, Ms. Robach remarks her evidence was collected over three years ago, but was “quashed” because she was told “no one knows who [Epstein] is”, therefore rendering it a “stupid story.” Note: in 2008, then-financier Mr. Epstein pleaded guilty to a felony charge of solicitation of prostitution involving a minor and served 13 months in prison.
When it comes to human sex trafficking — especially against minors — the United Staes Congress has taken aggressive bipartisan action to stop such atrocities. This work has successfully shut down trafficking marketplaces and has provided victims support and recourse to serve justice.
Although it is unclear whether anyone thought to alert authorities to further examine these deeply disturbing allegations, it is clear that ABC News’ enabling of Mr. Epstein has consequences: fewer victims willing to come forward to bring perpetrators of this modern-day slavery to justice and, more grievously, the possibility that any number of minors could have been spared from human trafficking over the past three years.
- Will ABC News provide Congress the interview Ms. Robach conducted with the victim?
- What did ABC News learn about Jeffrey Epstein after Ms. Robach first presented her story to executives?
- Who was involved in deciding this story was not of public interest, and what were their reasons for deciding so?
- Can Ms. Robach expand on the “outside forces” she mentioned as potentially responsible for the story not running?
- Was ABC News ever presented with additional evidence on Mr. Epstein from the time Ms. Robach first brought her investigation to the network and when he was ultimately arrested?
- Were authorities alerted at any time after Ms. Robach presented ABC News executives with her reporting? If so, when and what was provided?
ABC News’s initial response and subsequent actions reveal their priority is to identify and hold accountable the individual who released the video to the public. We believe that uncovering the source of the information is incomparably less important than the possibility of exposing the source of a human trafficking operation. It is imperative that the public be assured newsroom decisions regarding exposing human trafficking are not tampered by financial interests or outside forces.
For the dumb-dumbs saying things like "Congress has no business interfering with the business practices of the free press!" hold on just a second. We're talking now about a criminal investigation, not whether or not ABC News serves gluten-free donuts on a Monday morning. Congress would be out of line if it told the network what it should or should not report. But that's not really what's happening here. Congress is asking ABC News what evidence they have on a criminal, blackmailing, child-sex-trafficker and why they held the evidence secret if they had it.
Possibly protecting identities of people engaged in the trafficking of minors (or anyone) is a big boo-boo no-no, and should be a bipartisan issue. We're talking about PEDOPHILE ISLAND! We're talking about a man who made billions blackmailing people (allegedly) who was later suicided (allegedly) just about the time his face flap was flipping names. So yeah, there's more to this story than a growing list of glorious memes.
Who visited the island? Robach said she had photos and "everything" then even alluded to "a lot of powerful men were on that plane." If those men are still alive and kicking because they haven't yet been scheduled for suicide, we need to know who they are and punish them.
We've got a secret underage sex cabal here. The only people concerned with keeping the cabal a secret are those who are participants (or know of participants) of it. Yeah? Expose them. Now.
