When the Biden Administration's Disinformation Governance Board went belly-up, beating the record set by CNN+, by the way, many of us said that this wasn't the end of the left attempting to control information. The Ministry of Truth may have crumbled under the weight of the slightest scrutiny, but the left would just start trying to do the exact same thing using whatever other tools at their disposal. And it didn't take long at all.

Speaking on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," former White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer called for the government to step in to regulate social media algorithms to restrict the number of people right-wing outlets reach.

The left can't have The Daily Wire reaching more people than CNN. They can't allow right-wing pundits like Dan Bongino or Candace Owen to reach more people than the New York Times. Everyone needs to go to the overtly left outlets to get their news--the left must control the dominant narrative--because anything else is "a problem for democracy."

The legacy media are, what, objective? They spread no lies? We know for a fact this is bullsh*t. CNN routinely lies to push their agenda. The Washington Post's published lies were the centerpiece of the Depp v. Heard defamation trial--which Depp won, by the way! MSNBC, the very network they are talking on, pushed the horse dewormer lie! The left-wing media is fully staffed by liars, charlatans, and partisans, and those are the people calling for censorship and the restriction of right-wing sources--sources more people seem to trust than the lefty media.

People are waking up to the fact that progressive outlets are full of sh*t. They are turning to different outlets that don't purport to be objective but provide information as it actually is, based on objective reality.

The narrative must be controlled, though, and it must be controlled by the leftist media. So, they're going to do what they can to wrestle it back into their control, and calling for Congress to start regulating social media outlets is just the newest strategy.
