Leftists new talking point about Benghazi is that we "wasted" money on it. Over $4.8 million. Yes, this is the first time they've ever cared about saving the taxpayer money. Because spending it to investigate a criminal, that's "government waste."

Here's the deal. When you're dealing with the batrillionzillion spending budgets the United States government enjoys, you can lose scope of the numbers. That's where relativity plays a role. So, lets compare the Benghazi spending with some other things on which Congress actually did waste money.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) gave $2,466,482 to Daniel Resnic to develop three versions of the Origami condom, including the “first of its kind” anal condom. Resnic was later accused of wasting the money on full-body plastic surgery, trips to Costa Rica, parties at the Playboy mansion, and patents for inventions such as “rounded corners.”

The NIH has also given $3,531,925 to researchers to determine why lesbians are obese and gay men are not. Results have included: gay men have a “greater desire for toned muscles” than straight men, lesbians have low “athletic self-esteem,” and young men think about their muscles.

So, for those of you who can do math...

2,466,482 + 3,531,925 = 5,998,407

$5,998,407 > $4,809,266

We spent over a million dollars MORE on origami condoms and studying "why gay women are fatter than gay men," than we did on investigating four Americans being killed in Benghazi during a terror attack and how the administration lied about it.

Most importantly, who's using Origami condoms? And why aren't they instead being made into swans? You've got to imagine even leftists are embarrassed by this. They've just got to keep a game face.
