Unlike Cenk Uygur's mouth, the Second Amendment does tons of useful things. Like piss off leftist wimps. But more importantly, it allows people to save themselves and others in otherwise hopeless situations. Speaking of which, we here at LwC are suckers for stories where good guys shoot the gravy out of bad guys (see Good Samaritan SAVES Woman at Walmart and Home Intruder RUNS LIKE A SISSY When Armed Homeowner Aims Gun…). This one is sure to please. In Ohio, a convenience store clerk is home safe with his family thanks to the gun in his pocket...

The clerk's suspicions were spot on. Police said Hamm planned on robbing the place, but the employee derailed those plans.

"As soon as I saw the gun, I pulled mine and I shot him."

The only thing on this worker's mind was his family.

"That was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the gun. I thought of my kids. Somebody thought it was an easy target and it wasn't."

When this clerk thinks about what happened, he also thinks about the man he shot.

"I feel bad for him, but I didn't have a choice."

Surprise! This violent fleshbag picked the wrong store to thief about in. Turned out the guy behind the counter was packing heat. As he should be. Convenience stores are the target of loads of armed robberies. Many a store clerk has spared himself from being robbed - or killed - simply because they choose to arm themselves rather than sit in duck-like fashion.

In the end, the bad guy chomps metal while customers are free to keep stocking up on Twinkies. Everybody wins. All thanks to a good guy with a gun. This is why we grill into anti-gun activists for trying to do away with Second Amendment rights. "Gun control" translates to "criminal freedom," because it robs guys like this of their ability to defend themselves. That's a big no-no.
