Justin Trudeau's Puts Abortion Not Terrorism at Center of Foreign Policy
Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland gave a speech about Justin "I Feel Pretty" Trudeau's foreign policy. It's exactly what it looks like. At the crux of it is "feminism and the promotion of the rights of women and girls.” Most people can agree that the rights of women and girls is a noble cause. But if you take out your Leftist-to-English dictionary, you know what they mean when they say "womens rights." Hint: not a lot to do with actual rights.
“That includes sexual reproductive rights,” observed the former journalist and second-term Toronto MP who replaced Stephane Dion as foreign affairs minister in January.“That includes the right to safe and accessible abortions,” added Freeland.
“These rights are at the core of our foreign policy.”
First, let's laugh at the words "Canada," "feminism," and "foreign policy" being used in the same sentence. Few global diplomats are wetting themselves, wondering what Canada has to say about the state of global affairs. Be it in feminism or what topping is best used on flapjacks. Yes, that was a cheap slap, but let's be real. The country only seems to care about feminism in certain situations. Others, not so much (see Canada’s Feminist, Justin Trudeau Visits Mosque. Turns Out It’s a Sexist One… and Canada’s Kathleen Wynne Visits Mosque Preach to Tolerance. Gets Put in a Corner!).
Secondly, abortion and sexual reproductive rights being a part of "foreign policy" is inane. Making sure women not in your country have the right to suck babies out of their womb seems rather not any of your business. And terribly diabolical.
Thirdly, while most sane people would at least worry about TERRORISM as part of their foreign policy, perhaps "women's rights" in Canada's foreign policy could be more concerned with women being treated better in their native lands. Like not to being stoned to death for driving a car. Leaving the house. Watching a soccer game. Being raped by her cousin then sentenced to death. These are just basic, entry-level feministic ideas.
Of course a "feminist" like Trudeau would be more concerned with babies being aborted. Specifically aborting them.
