Bird-Brained Liberal Professor Demands Counseling for Students Suffering from Microaggressions...
America's late teens are being nursed into "grown-ups" by caregivers who water them with toxic leftist ideals. Welcome to college, where leftist fantasy lands dawn the flags of social justice. Like this woman. A professor suggested her students become professional victims. By pushing counseling for "invisible microaggressions." She even did a cute study on it using 18 self-loathing individuals:
Microaggressions can include many “brief and common” perceived insults or slights, according to Vaccaro—who, as Campus Reform reported last August, coined the term “invisibility microaggressions” to describe when students of color “feel invisible.”
Perceived insults or slights. A.k.a. sarcasm, humor, or the mental constructions implemented by people desperate for victimhood.
“Kim, who described herself as introverted, found it easier to say nothing and retreat to the comfort of home where she could cry it out,” Vaccaro writes, adding that Kim, an Asian student, told her that “It’s so easy to just want to retreat, and...just be like ‘I don’t think I want to do this anymore.’ It’s just easier to go home.”“If they piss me off one time, that’s it, I’m not going to come back,” said Sharon, on how she deals with professors and faculty members she feels are microaggressive.
To address the “pervasive racial microaggressions” that students face, Vaccaro recommends several strategies colleges can use to help, including more counseling services for students of color..."
The definition of "microaggressions" are as vague as the line between Kim Jong Un's neck and chin. As ambiguous as the purpose behind the infamous p*ssy hat. Or Amy Schumer.
This professor claims concern for students in confrontational situations. But rather than help them become adults, she treats them with the delicateness of defenseless premature kittens. Hidden in a room with juice boxes. Crayons. A rattle made with birth control pills.
Notice also her subtle racism. Only "students of color" need to be coddled? So she thinks they're not as mentally equipped as non-colored people? This is better known as the "soft bigotry of low expectations." The professor expects white students to carry on. But "students of color" need a security blanket.
