EXPLAINED: Why The Electoral College is Necessary
When it comes to understanding civics and history, the left is about as sharp as Lena Dunham's jaw line. Case in point, smug nancyboy Adam Conover of Adam Ruins Everything. Adam saw fit to make a segment about the electoral college and why he thinks it needs to vamanos. Much the same way his comedic timing abandoned him.
Right on. America is not, nor was it ever, a democracy. Leftists cannot seem to get that idea though their cartoonishly coifed heads. Blame the organic shampoo which is strangely full of chemicals.
The Founding Fathers, though they didn't create a democracy, designed the electoral college to give all states their own voice. Fairness. What's good for California and New York might not be good for Wyoming or Montana. Yet without the electoral college, California and New York would choose the president every four years. Hardly seems fair, no?
Would leftists be complaining about the electoral college if Hillary Clinton won? Of course not. They'd celebrate in the streets as if the Catholic Church had been forced to provide the sorority sisters with free condoms. Jelly shots anyone? But since Trump pulled out a victory with the electoral college, it's now "problematic." Color us not surprised.
