While frustrating to people who care about things like "laws," the Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal has been more embarrassing to her than anything else (see NEW EMAILS: Hillary Cares More About Sarah Palin than LGBQ Rights and Top Google Searches for ‘Hillary Clinton’ Will Make You feel Vindicated…). If you're still waiting for a smoking gun that's going to get her indicted and thrown in jail, Ted Cruz thinks you're going to be waiting for a while...

At this point, from what’s publicly known, it appears that Secretary Clinton’s conduct was far more serious than that of General Petraeus. And yet, this Justice Department prosecuted a war hero, and now, even today, is trying to strip one or two stars from General Petraeus after a lifetime of honorable service defending this nation. And yet, in one of the saddest things, if you talk to any reporter who covers Washington, D.C., and you ask the question will Hillary Clinton be indicted, inevitably the answer is well, it depends on what the Obama White House wants. If they decide they want to be rid of her, then she will be indicted, and if they don’t, she won’t. And you can appreciate as an alumnus of the Department of Justice just how heartbreaking it is that there is an acceptance that the enforcement of criminal justice is decided not by the laws of this country, but by some political hack in the West Wing of the White House. That is not how our Constitution is meant to operate.

Rules and laws? Those are for little people.

Sorry, sorry to our "little people" readers. I didn't mean that as a slight. Allow me to clarify. I meant it in the "pedestrian" sense.

Sadly Ted Cruz is right. I was asked about this at a live show last night. Will Hillary get indicted? WILL HILLARY GET INDICTED?!

Only if Barack Obama wants it to be so. That's really what it comes down to. Listen, Hillary Clinton is weighed down by the chains of more sins than Jacob Marley. But none of it has ever stopped her before. Conservatives hate to hear this, because they like to think there's some magic fix, but there isn't. Hillary Clinton has been involved with sexual harassment cover-ups, the death of American soldiers (and her subsequent lying about it), violations of federal law on multiple occasions... and none of it has been made to stick.

This won't be any different unless the President wants it to stick. It sucks, but that's how this administration works. You're either in column A) in which case you are prosecuted and harassed to the full extent of the law (see Conservative non-profits, kids with hidden cameras who go into Planned Parenthood) or you find yourself in column B) where no matter what you do, no matter how many laws you break, you are untouchable.

Hillary Clinton has always found herself in column B. And that's why the next President needs to be different. The next President needs to be better.

I don't want a President who simply does what Obama did for the Democrats... but for Republicans. I don't want a President who passes out executive orders like joints at a Ron Paul convention. I don't want a President who selectively prosecutes the law only toward liberals. I want someone someone who resists the urge to "take their turn" and instead, upholds the Constitution and the laws of our country.

I want an actual Conservative.
