Joe Biden works at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington DC. Two miles away, at a CVS, you can see the fruits of his party's policies. DC was crime-ridden even before a new generation of progressive Democrats elected progressive officials to enact progressive policies to defund the police and make crime legal-ish in the name of equity. Then they wonder why the shelves at their local CVS are completely empty.

That's not an exaggeration. A new viral video shows barren shelves where everyday necessities would be if this was real America where were prosecute crime.

Why so empty? It's not so much the 45 or more kids who regularly go in to steal chips and drinks as reported by FOX 5 DC. It's that the criminals have figured out when the new shipments are coming in and are striking then. It makes life so much easier for them.

FOX 5 walked down 14th Street passing by street venders and noticed were selling items like toothbrushes, men and women body wash, car fresheners, and laundry and cleaning supplies – which are some of the same items no longer available inside the CVS.

The street vendors are, allegedly, paying people to steal so they can re-sell it. $1000 is usually the cut-off in most progressive cities. Anything under that, and progressive officials do not think it's worth prosecuting. Enough people have been emboldened by progressives to take $999 worth of merch because they know nothing will happen to them.

In Washington DC, it's gotten so bad that some grocery chains stopped selling brand-name merchandise. They figure there is no street market value in the no-frills stuff.

Just, please, we implore you, DO NOT blame Democrats for the crime that is infesting Democrat-run cities.

At some point, you would assume progressive-run cities would determine the words "progressive" and "run" are the problem. Until then, enjoy trying to find toothpaste or Funyons.
