Look, I get it. President Volodymyr Zelensky seems like the definition of a badass right now. He stands opposite one of the biggest bad guys in modern history Vladimir Putin, leading his country in the defense of his nation, and not in the usual fashion one would commonly see a politician “lead,” but actually leading his people. All of that machismo in one 5’7” package must be hard for a girl to resist, but ladies, the man’s married, and these weird crushes are, well, weird.

In the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Zelensky went from an anonymous eastern European politician to the embodiment of the wartime leader. I mean, seriously, what guy turns down a get-out-of-warzone-free card to sit in the “trenches,” as it were? A leader, that’s who.

But some of the adoration for the man has taken a turn, as lonely females voice their newfound infatuation with a man they had probably never heard of before last week.

One woman, Stephanie Martin, 44, the New York Post reports, took to TikTok to air her sexual frustrations. In a short video post titled “The heart wants what it wants,” Martin attempts to play coy.

Now, perhaps this is just in jest—in fact, I hope it’s just meant to be a cute joke about a guy who’s earned the kind of adoration Zelensky has received. Or maybe not.

It would seem several ladies have come to the realization that they are in love with the Ukrainian president.

I find it terribly funny Kelly attempts to make a comparison between Putin’s toxic masculinity and Zelensky’s masculinity, especially seeing as how the very same traits Zelensky has demonstrated—steadfastness, loyalty, strength, patriotism—would have him canceled here in America only a week ago. Jeez…

Several other ladies reported by the Post revealed that they, too, had fallen for Brass-Balls Zelensky after discovering he did the voice acting for Paddington in the Ukrainian releases of the two films. (I’ve never seen Paddington. In truth, I couldn’t even tell you what these movies are about, but apparently, this is true.)

Others are not so quick to jump Zelensky’s bones.

I agree with McCall. It’s a little weird, y’all. It does, however, prove that women do crave the traditionally masculine male archetype, whether leftist radical feminists and gender theorists want to believe it or not. The courageous soldier trumps the skinny jean-wearing soy-boy every time, guys.
