We've all been there. When you finally get the baby to go to sleep, you do everything possible to make sure the baby stays asleep, including beating off an armed gunman at a gas station. Happy Father's Day to this guy!

It always seems to go down at gas stations. I get that gas prices are unaffordable thanks to the Biden Incompetence Tax, but it's still no reason to fall into a life a crime.

Our story takes place in Detroit, home to coney dogs, the world's worst football team, and Thomas LaDuke. Dad finally got his baby to sleep, when out of nowhere appeared Bucket Hat Jones. Bucket Hat thought he'd run in, grab some money and a bag of chips and run out. But in Bucket Hat's rush, he never thought to load his gun before entering the gas station.

Thankfully, Dad was watching Barry Gordy's The Last Dragon the night before. He hit Bucket Hat with some kung fu moves before the gun was loaded, causing Bucket Hat to flee as Dad moved to a safer part of the store. At no point did the baby wake up. Little dude must have been tired.

A person of interest has since been apprehended. So that's good.
