You don't need two eyes to see that the current border crisis is what Joe Biden wants. Or, more specifically, the people who run Joe Biden. All Joe Biden wants is an extra scoop of chocolate chip, a nap, and to know who keeps pooping in his underpants. But Democrats campaigned on repealing Donald Trump's commonsense illegal immigration reform, which they started doing on January 21. We've had a border crisis since January 22. Congressman Dan Crenshaw says we should stop pretending this isn't what leftists want.

There is a version of this video on Crenshaw's Instagram page with cheesy music behind it. He's on an "appeal to the TikTok generation" kick. As an oldhead from the MySpace generation, I went with an old-fashioned YouTube video.

"I rise today because our border is still in crisis. I rise today to bring attention to the dereliction of duty by this president occurring at our southern border. Most of all I rise to ask this: Can we all stop pretending? Can we stop pretending that this administration deserves any benefit of the doubt? Pretending that it's a tough situation beyond their control? Pretending that this administration and frankly the entire Democrat Party have any intention of solving the border crisis? We should stop pretending as if this isn't purposeful, because it is. When every single policy measure that you partake in results in more illegal immigration, it stands to reason, using the powers of deduction, that maybe you want more illegal immigration. So let's stop pretending otherwise."

Maybe not everything is by design. I'm hoping the Biden administration losing thousands and thousands of migrant children wasn't part of the plan. The Haitians living under the bridge downtown seemed to catch people by surprise too. It's why Democrats called on the media to report that Border Patrol was whipping them. To wit, the media responded, "Sure, we have no self-respect."

Outside a few unexpected oopsies, Democrats knew what would happen when they put a guy into office who campaigned on open borders. This is what they wanted. We need to make sure they own it in the midterms.
