Dana Carvey performed a rarity in late-night comedy. He told jokes about Joe Biden. Not that we haven't seen some signs of late-night turning on Ol' Puddinghead. But I feel this is a case of DNC stooge Jimmy Kimmel going on vacation, and getting someone who is actually funny to fill in for him.

Carvey focused on Biden being senile and easily confused with words, which is the easy material. But he also had jokes about Biden's lovefest with Mohammed Bin Salman. There was concern over Biden shaking hands with MBS, what with MBS ordering an American journalist to be killed. They settled on a fistbump. Which was much, much worse.

"You know Biden called him a 'Pariah' and as recently as last month said he wouldn't even meet with him. But this weekend, there they were bro-ing it out. [...] 'How's it hanging? Oh, how's it hanging under that robe?'"

Dana joked the fistbump could have been Biden's attempt to punch MBS, but failing to do so. Mayhaps. It could also be Biden trying to hide the blood on his hands that the fiance of Jamal Khashoggi--the journalist who is no longer with us--says Joey has on his hands.

Dana Carvey was the first mainstream comedian to nail the perfect Biden impersonation. It's even better in full costume. Though, more funny than mocking our mockable president was later in the bit when he did a Bill Clinton impersonation but accidentally did his "Franz" voices. Both of those names are oldhead references, but if you understand them you are laughing.
