There were three notable voices who, from early on in the pandemic, called bullplop on a lot of what was being pushed by the media. LwC Editor Emeritus Courtney Kirchoff. America's Governor Ron DeSantis. And UFC President Dana White.

While every other sports league was shamed into shutting down, Dana fought to keep his up and he got excoriated for doing so. We are now approximately 900 days past fifteen days to flatten the curve and White is not above pointing out that he was right and the New York Times can suck it.

There was this narrative during [SCHMOVID] that if you didn't run and hide, you were reckless. You were a monster. You didn't care about other people.

You were also a conspiracy theorist, like Dr. Joe Rogan. That was another one. Don't ever forget that one.

We all know what happened next. Dana (and anyone who went against the narrative) was "destroyed" in May of 2020. By December of 2020, people like Dana White were proven right. Now over a year and a half later, forcing people to stay home with nothing to do but a) consume corporate media, and b) see corporate media exposed for what it really is, people who started off 2020 as non-political see things differently.

That's what the media does. The media does nothing. They never built anything. No one depends on them for a paycheck. But all they do is sit back and criticize: "I'm going to kill people." "I care more about money than human life." And the New York Times as you can imagine was blasting me daily.

Every time a poll comes out that shows media as the least trusted institution in America, members of the media wring their hands and cry to the heavens "why?" Then they blame social media for being allowed to expose how much they suck at life.

It's going to take an election cycle or two to know for sure, but my gut tells me that the pandemic has changed people in a way that isn't getting picked up in public polling. You see it happening throughout Europe. The restrictions changed people. And being forced to slow down and pay attention to what else the media and other elitists have been up to changed them as well.

Voters see who was responsible. They are making a conscious effort to vote for whoever is running against those people.
