JK Rowling is a liberal feminist and creator of the Harry Potter universe. Daniel Radcliffe exists to us for no other reason than being cast to play Harry Potter in the movies. For some reason, Radcliffe decided to take a trip down memory lane and brag about the time he threw Rowling under the bus to appease activists.

Rowling was a lioness of the left. Progressives would self-identify as Harry Potter sects as they "resisted" Donald Trump. It was as if they had never read another book in their lives

Then when men started self-identifying as women, Rowling chose the side of women who were born that way. Activists went berserk. Radcliffe joined other Potter alumni in throwing Rowling under the bus in 2020 proclaiming that "transgender women are women."

He could have left it there. A lot has changed since 2020. We now tell biological girls -- including teenagers -- that if they have a problem with seeing another woman's penis, they need to shut up about it or have their lives destroyed. Also, we now say things like "another woman's penis." It's not me. It's the AP style guide.

Ratcliffe saw an opportunity to further signal his virtue in 2022 and in a recent interview, relived that time he sh*t on JK Rowling.

The reason I felt very, very much as though I needed to say something when I did was because particularly since finishing ‘Potter...’

You knew if you didn't say anything they wouldn't let you make movies anymore.

I don’t think I would’ve been able to look myself in the mirror had I not said anything. ... J.K. Rowling does not speak for everybody in the franchise.

M'kay. So when JK Rowling speaks that it is wrong for police to put rapists who have male genitalia into prisons with women who have female genitalia, the franchise disagrees with Rowling? Do they agree with the people threatening to kill her over her belief that, while she supports anyone who wants to live their best lives, maybe -- just maybe -- some of the activism has gone too far?

A lot has happened since 2020, other than trans still ranks #1 on the left's pound-for-pound most marginalized rankings at the expense of everyone else. I get that actors like Ratcliffe are nervous about their careers and how quickly the left will have those careers taken away. But a simple "I don't want to talk about it" would have sufficed.
