Watch: Dave Chappelle explains Trump's appeal slow enough for liberals to understand, and DEFENDS Kanye?
Dave Chappelle gave the internet a Rorschach test on Saturday Night. He held up a few ink blotches during his monologue on SNL, leaving people at home to decide if they see a sailboat or if they Chappelle mocking Kanye West.
The New York Times claims Dave Chappelle mocked Kanye and Kyrie last night on SNL. That's an absolute lie. He backed them. And Trump, too. https://t.co/MVgmIr4Unx

There was added attention to Chappelle's appearance. Rumors had surfaced that comedy writers for SNL were boycotting having to work with one of the greatest comedians to ever do it. I don't think we need to recap the controversy as to why they were upset at Chappelle. But if so, we here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website gotchu.
First, his Trump bars on why New York City people don't get the appeal of Donald Trump. Besides being hilarious, Chappelle was also spot on. All it took was Trump's debate performance against Hillary Clinton. Also, Hillary Clinton sucking at life.
I have such mixed feelings about Dave Chappelle, but he is easily one of the GOATs of comedy, and has always been able to sprinkle a lot of truth in between his jokes. pic.twitter.com/DomgKGQAvi

Then came his jokes about Kanye West, WHO DAVE CHAPPELLE IS FRIENDS WITH. As I look at the ink splotch, I don't see him mocking Kanye. I see him telling jokes about a story that was in the news. It's broken up into two parts. "I've probably been doing this thirty-five years now. And early on in my career, I learned there are two words in the English language you should never say together in sequence. And those words are 'the' and 'Jews.'"
Part of Dave Chappelle’s opening monologue on SNL going right at Kanye West’s antisemitic remarks in only a way Chappelle can. More below … pic.twitter.com/Cxv97eqGoA

"It's the rule of perception. if they're black, it's a gang. If they're Italian, it's a mob. And if they're Jewish, it's a coincidence and you should never speak about it."

Chappelle ended the performance with this:
It shouldn’t be this scary to talk about anything. It’s making my job incredibly difficult. And to be honest with you, I’m sick of talking to a crowd like this. I love you to death, and I thank you for your support. And I hope they don’t take anything away from me, whoever they are.
When I look at these ink splotches I see what I usually see: another masterful performance from Dave Chappelle. One where I'm too busy laughing to try and decipher whatever he's trying to tell us. More often than not, it's just jokes.
