Adam Carolla and Dave Rubin are two favorites of ours here in CrowderLand (see Adam Carolla Nails Snowflake Campus Culture: ‘We Need Adults to Start Being Adults!’ and Dave Rubin Perfectly Explains Why He Abandoned the Left…). Dave was just on Carolla's podcast, and of course conversation turned to how much the left su-diddly-ucks.

The whole clip is good, but Rubin got all Don Henley on us by getting down to the heart of the matter.

I used to work for a pretty far left network. One of the things I realized is they were hysterical about everything all the time. Everything caused hysteria. And one of the things I said after the election is that the left is causing a reaction where our own gauge of what do be upset by - if we're all ratcheting this thing up and screaming all the time - when something truly bad happens, we won't know what to do.

And by the way, if you keep calling Trump "Hitler" and he doesn't do Hitler things, which he hasn't (I don't think he's rounding up the Jews), if he doesn't do that and he starts doing good things - the economy is ok, we're not going into extra wars - then people are going to to be like, "Wait a minute. They've been screaming that this guy is Hitler, but I still have my job, the economy economy is doing ok...Trump isn't that bad."

I saw Hitler Things open for The Scorpions in 1989, but that's not important right now.

More importantly, to any lefties who are reading this right now, don't listen to Dave Rubin. He has no idea what he's talking about. Y'all just keep doing you and be as hysterical over everything as you want (see Leftists Protest Election of Donald Trump by Screaming at the Clouds). It's totally working out for you. #Trump2020
