David Hogg, purveyor of manliness, defender of police, and guy with more hotties sliding into his DMs than he knows what to do with, was busted in a lie. Or, rather, it depends who you ask. Hogg said he made an honest mistake. Anyone smart enough to not believe that will tell you his pants are in flames.

We begin with this now-deleted tweet. According to the Hoggonator, his meeting with Sen. Marco Rubio was canceled because, as per David, "Rubio staff said I can’t meet with him or his staff because I ‘trigger’ him. I just wanna have a conversation. Please meet with me @marcorubio I just want to figure out how we can stop these things from happening. We have to end the continuous debate and find out what we can agree on."

I said the "now-deleted tweet," because, according to Marco Rubio's chief of staff Michael Needham, it's all bull plop. No one said that to David. David actually had a meeting that afternoon. A meeting was now canceled over Hogg's performative outrage.

Needham has receipts, too. Turns out, there is a reporter doing a profile on Hogg for some reason. AND the reporter was emailing with Rubio's communications team about the 2:00 PM meeting.

Hogg said in a follow-up tweet it was an honest mistake, and because he has soooooo many meetings, he got them confused. It was an honest mistake David *checks notes* completely made up a staffer in Rubio's office who told Hogg the senator is so triggered by Hogg, that he refused to meet with him.

I'm surprised someone in Rubio's office bothered to schedule a meeting with Hogg. These are serious times for serious people to discuss serious issues. David Hogg is a grifter and a former child star who is trying to launch a new career as a social media influencer. I'm surprising he hasn't launched a podcast yet, "Derpin' with David."
