Considering the past few months, we knew it wouldn't be long before another mass protest reared its ugly head. The newest one is called #ADayWithoutAWoman. Yep, just one woman. Because all the feminists in the world put together amounts to about one woman. Or something. This congregation of hoofed mammals is set to take place March 8th, as feminists around the US "protest" - or more accurately, do us all a favor - by removing themselves from society for the day. Woe is us.

Looks like it is having some real world consequences though. For instance, this school will be forced to close its doors for a day...

Chapel Hill-Carrboro schools have announced that classes will be canceled for students on March 8 because of an expected high rate of teacher absences due to a planned national demonstration.

The strike, dubbed "A Day Without a Woman" by organizers, coincides with International Women's Day. Women are encouraged to take the day off work, exclusively shop at "small, women and minority owned businesses," and wear red in solidarity.

"Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools values and supports its female employees. However, the decision to close schools is not an endorsement of the planned demonstration. The decision is made solely to avoid operating school on a day when there are insufficient staff to provide instruction and basic school services," district spokesman Jeff Nash said in a statement.

Sound familiar? These (l)asses are following in the footsteps of loads of illegal immigrants who skipped out on work a few days ago. Courtesy of unions and tenure, it appears the schools have little choice in the matter. So much for caring about consent...

What exactly are these "ladies" still marching for? It's a question there seems to be no real answer to. Whatever it is, we can only assume the Women's March on Washington didn't accomplish what they set out to do (see LOL: 'Women's March' Protesters Turn On Each Other... Because Racism? and Ashley Judd Embarrasses Herself, Recites Insane Poem at Women's March). Hence they're waddling out in droves to harp on about feminism all over again.

Genuine question: Don't teachers always tell us that "we do it for the kids"? Aren't we always told how much teachers, on the whole, care about the children? How is skipping school for a day, so they might protest... well, whatever, in the children's benefit? I guess if they're teaching children about sex, or forcing them to kiss each other, maybe it's better for the kids if the teachers called in sick.
